When you’ve been called…
Throughout my blogging journey I have lost and found my voice. I have questioned if what I’m doing is right. Is it worth it?
Am I truly helping others? Or am I simply fooling myself. But then doing my bible study of Proverbs I came across a scripture that spoke to me.

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy. – Proverbs 31:8-9 ESV
I may not be speaking for the homeless. But I am speaking to those who are often spiritually poor or in need. The reality is you never know who you can or may help unless you speak up.
I encourage you not give in to fear. Know that your voice needs to be heard. I know our world is loud but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t someone out there that needs to hear from you. I just want to pray for you and let you know that God has called you.
Prayer for When God calls you to Speak
Dear Heavenly Father grant me the courage to speak out for those in need. Give me sound mind, judgement, and wisdom. Help me to help those in need. Most of all, help us all to care about others more than ourselves. Help us to see one another as the brothers and sisters you created us to be. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
