5 Bible Verses to Pray

Armor of god | How to Pray | Prayer scriptures | War room ideas | #bibleverse #prayer #prayerrequest

If you are a beginner like me, when you first began to pray regularly you likely realized you didn’t have much to say. After you are done asking God to fulfill your hopes and dreams. Then you probably began to thank God for all he has done for you.

But once you get pass asking God for what you need and want. And thanking God for all that he has done. You probably wondering, what else am I suppose to say?

I get it and I am with you. I had no clue what to say either. Once I watched the War Room movie I was left speechless and uncertain. I didn’t think I had what it takes to pray.

You may wish that your prayer life was more powerful, eloquent, or confidence. Just remember you don’t have to be any of those things for God to hear you.

Prayer by definition is a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship.

As long as you’re talking to God whether it is out loud or in your head. God knows who you are and where you are in your spiritual journey. He is so thankful to have you back in His kingdom.

Just be yourself! Remember just like with anything else the more you pray the better you will be  at praying. If you are ever lost for what to say try praying one or all of these bible verses.

5 Bible Verses to Pray

Proverbs 3:5-7
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

Psalms 119:10-13
With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lordteach me your statutes!
With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Hebrews 13:5-6
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”

James 1:4-6
And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
