#GrowingBabyRose: 33 Weeks

During my third trimester my cravings have intensified quite a bit. For the first time I actually bought a bottle of Fanta, while more like 3 bottles. Whereas in the past I’ve only had it while eating out. But now that I’m over burgers I figured it would be better and cheaper to buy it from the grocery store. For the last few weeks I’ve become obsessed with nachos and sour candy. I’m glad to say I have perfected my nachos recipe and I think it’s a keeper.

As far as symptoms I’m sad to said the nausea is back it’s not as bad as it was during the first trimester but nonetheless its still not fun. The nausea coupled with the heartburn has made Tums and I best friends. As I get bigger the back pain and pelvic pain are beginning to intensify. And oh yeah, I’ve started to have Braxton-Hicks contractions. We are quickly coming to an end 45 days and counting.

My energy level has surely began to slow down. But I’m still going thanks to coffee. Secretly I’m hoping that my morning cup of joe will help baby Rose go from night time ballerina to morning riser. Either way we shall see soon.

Rose has not missed a beat in terms of energy, kicks, or movement. She is still a busy little ballerina especially during the night although she does make occasional appearances during the day. She is definitely starting to run out of space in there because I can’t imagine my skin stretching much further.

In case your wondering I’m skipping the age old tradition of hosting a baby shower. I just don’t have the energy, time, or interest to plan a baby shower. Instead I’ve focused my energy on wrapping up my work, preparing her nursery, and sewing cloth diapers.

Love this post, Pin it!
