As of lately it feels like our family is going through the trials of Job. I have been trying to keep to myself about it because I find that when I talk openly about what I’m going through I just find myself soaking. That’s the opposite of what I need in this moment.
But everything in me is telling me to share as I struggle. I know I’m not alone. But Lord knows this is not easy for me in the least.
If you can please pray for my family. I’m trying to be more honest and real with you in 2019. Life isn’t always picture perfect – at least not for me.
But what even in all that we’re going through I still believe that we are am blessed. I recognize there is always someone going through a more difficult time.
Maybe they haven’t yet found the salvation that lies in Christ. Or maybe their basic needs often go unmet. No matter what there struggle maybe. I recognize I have a lot to be thankful for.
I love the Lord , because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. Psalms 116:1-2 ESV
Every moment where I find myself feeling weak. I just pray. I remind myself of His promises. I ask Him to enlarge my faith.

In the midst of fasting and prayer the Holy Spirit moved me to read Psalm 116. I kid you not I just about fell out of my seat. I just couldn’t believe God was speaking to me so clearly.
I was so humbled recognizing that he was talking me. The ship wreck of a mess that I am. I’m often super composed in the midst of chaos. But on the inside I’m usually falling apart.
My spirit is weeping. My soul is weary. And the only thing holding me up physically is the strength I have found in the word – I kid you not.
I know this test has a purpose. I already see the change that it has had on my family. And for that I am beyond grateful.

We all experience ups and downs, heartache, and pain. But if you allow yourself to lean on God during your trials and tribulation you will come out stronger in the end. These are the words that have comforted and strengthened me when I was unsure if I would be able to go on. 10 Bible Verses for a Healing Heart
1. Romans 5:3-5 Suffering produces Hope

2. Proverbs 3:5-7 the Lord will make a Way
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
3. Luke 1:37 Nothing is Impossible
For nothing will be impossible with God.
4. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Cast your burdens on God
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
5. James 1:17 Good things will come
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
6. John 9:31 He hears you
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
8. Psalm 119:9-12 Pure of Heart
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes!
9. Deuteronomy 4:29 Seek God
